Leigh Vardanega is a Sydney based abstract artist who works from her home studio on the
Northern Beaches.

For as long as she can remember Leigh has been drawn to all things creative and has explore
everything from ceramics to photography and every craft imaginable. Leigh’s work is inspired
by her memories and her interpretation of the world around her. Her unique visual language of
sophisticated motifs and patterns draws upon her coastal and bush environments and love of
travel. The works are multi-layered and are a celebration of colour, texture and shape. They
are playful and organic in their development. Above all, Leigh aims to bring joy to her paintings.

Leigh holds a diploma in Visual Arts majoring in photography and ceramics. Ultimately her main
discipline and passion is painting.
