An art exhibition presented by Dr Denise Stanley in conjunction with uniquely Australian iconicgraphic artist Tracey Esteves and 3D print artist Jo Sommers

Denise Stanley’s artwork combines a well-used digital image with a once-used material substance in order to demonstrate a relationship between technological and material elements.  The ‘Kiss Mark’ is commonly used to express an emotion through electronic communication. This emoji ideogram is cut from the red carpet that was utilised for a VIP event at the Gallery of New South Wales.  As with most VIP events around the world, the red carpet is typically disposed of after only one use.
