Local Manly artist RJ. Menzies returns to Gallery109 with his latest exhibition titled ‘Singularity’. The word Singularity in this context refers to “uncontrollable growth”, which is definitely descriptive of RJ’s life of late.

RJ has recently started full time work as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor at a front-line residential detox and rehabilitation centre on the Northern Beaches. With this enormous promotion in career has come upgrades in responsibility, income, fitness, lifestyle and spirituality. He finds himself regularly in the ocean and on a yoga matt to compensate, this is reflected on the canvass in his recent works. 

This exhibition coincides with Mental Health Awareness month. Multiple pieces are being sold for charities including The Black Dog Institute, Food Ladder and Seeds of Hope Orphanage in Bali.
