Solo Exhibition- “Inside / Outside”

Carmel Quill is a Sydney-based artist, and has been painting for over 6 years. As a horticulturalist and landscape designer, her paintings are informed by nature and the relationship between objects, both in still life and in the landscape.

Inside/Outside explores ephemeral moments in time, drawing on light and shadow, seasonal cadences in landscapes or the artful happenstance of everyday life, to capture specific emotion and mood. It is Quill’s unique ability to evoke feeling that injects these scenes of home and nature with presence and vibrancy.
