Biography

Regina Law is a Sydney based artist, living and working in the surrounds of the Dharawahl National Park in the South-west of Sydney for the last 30 years.
Originally from Germany, she migrated to Australia at the age of six. She grew up in the southern suburbs of Sydney, where she was greatly inspired by her wanderings in the Royal National Park.

Having obtained a bachelor of  Interior Design from the University of Technology Sydney, she worked a few years in the design industry before starting on her own ventures in creating high end Photo Albums and furniture design. In the last 15 years she has devoted herself full time to her art practice, which encompasses Painting, Sculpture and Ceramics.

Her Paintings are her emotional response to her experience of the landscape, the changing of colors in the light, its shapes, rhythms and smells.
Her Ceramic work is also greatly influenced by nature and the human form.

A selection of Regina’s works will be on display in the Gallery 109 shopfront for 3 weeks from 11th April
